Play Synopsis “The Crucible” is a gripping tale of mass hysteria and moral reckoning during the Salem witch trials of 1692. After a group of young girls is discovered dancing in the woods, suspicions of witchcraft spread throughout the town. Among them is Abigail Williams, whose past affair with John Proctor leads to a wave of false accusations, fueled by fear, vengeance, and hidden desires. As paranoia consumes Salem and neighbor turns against neighbor, pride, envy, and ambition eclipse the truth.
